The Juices were made there, right in front of me, using some ingredients i had not even heard of. Now of course is 2016 and Juice Bars of one sort or another are present everywhere around the world, nevertheless the trend has not stopped, it has actually increased with more and more people looking for a healthier lifestyle together with a more energizing diet regime.
Looking to reproduce the same sort of results at home and make great tasting juices from whatever i could get my hand on at home, i had made the terrible mistake of buying a centrifugal juicer at a relatively low cost on the high street. Juice tasted good and i thought nothing of it until i discovered the magic of Slow Juicing and the difference it can make. You see, the nutritional quality of the juice extract, depends from two important elements. The way how the juice fibres are broken down and the centrifugal force utilized to complete the process of separation of the juice from the waste pulp.
Speed and heat can destroy vital nutrients and that is why juices made with a high speed centrifugal motor do taste good but are not as effective at delivering the nutrients. With a slow Juicer the fibres are "masticated" and ground together, during this process they release more vital ingredients which are usually found in the plant cells. High speed machines simply do not give enough time for the fibres to be broken down completely making your final end product somehow duller and lacking in colour and richness.
Then i discovered the Samson 6 in 1 Slow Juicer
The Samson 6 in 1 juicer has been around for a little over a decade now and have been going really well in the USA within the market of wellness which over there is huge. More recently it has caught the eyes of many European shoppers looking for a better way to juice, including mine.

This difference is immediately noticeable as soon as you watch the gentle trickle of juice dripping down the the plastic nozzle, which by the way is made of a special plastic compound 8 times stronger than normal plastic. The slow juicing process had preserved the minerals and nutrients that usually get destroyed by a conventional centrifugal machine. The juice had a different texture, colour and indeed taste. Exciting times!
Needless to say that i have never looked back, this juicer is so quick to assemble and to clean even for a busy person like myself. It minimize the production of harmful chemicals produced by a conventional juicer and is generally a joy to use.
How does the Samson Juicer work?
The Samson Juicer works by crashing and grinding the ingredients, extracting the juices and getting rid of the pulp. Its method of function resembles a traditional stone milling, you would never seen a stone moving at very high speed while crashing the grains, well this machine uses the same principles, the only difference is that the ingredients don't get crashed by a stone but by a large screw moving around at set slow speed. The spee
This method of juice extraction tears open the produce’s cell membranes and releases its deep-seated nutrients and enzymes. This results in a richer colored juice which contains 99% of the enzymes, nutrients and minerals still intact.
The juicer operates at a low RPM speed of 80, which does not disrupt the cellular structure of the fruits and vegetables. This is important as iteliminates oxidation of the juices, preserving the precious enzymes and nutrients closest to its natural form.
There is a marked difference in the quality of the juices extracted from both a centrifugal and the Samson 6-in-1 juicer. For example, an apple juiced on a centrifugal juicer will produce an oxidized brown colored clear juice (only water content with no enzymes and nutrients) which has a metallic taste; whereas the apple juiced on the Samson 6-in-1 juicer will result in un-oxidized, even-colored and great-tasting juice. Oxidized juice is effectively, spoiled juice.
